Aims to foster improvements in the organisation and practice of critical care (intensive and high dependency care) in the UK.

Intensive Care Society
The ICS website has sections for professionals and patients and family members with a detailed information booklet about critical care, designed to answer some of the questions you may have. They also have a message board.
ICU Steps
The Intensive Care Unit Support Teams for Ex-Patients (ICUsteps) was founded in 2005 by ex-patients, their relatives and ICU staff to support patients and their families through the long road to recovery from critical illness.
Scottish Intensive Care Society 
Its specific aims are to promote educational, research and audit activities.
Welsh Intensive Care Society
Aims to provide audit, research, training and education in intensive care medicine.
